FAQ
Installation questions
Is there a macOS or Linux version?
Not yet. SOLIDWORKS only runs on Windows, so imCAD is Windows-only for now. Other operating systems will be considered as imCAD adds more CAD software.
How do updates work?
The app tells you when a new version is out; click Update and you are done, no need to download the installer again. You can also check manually with imCAD - Update in the Start Menu.
Is the Windows Defender warning a problem?
The installer is not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen flags it as unrecognized. Only download it from your Account page on imcadagent.com, then click More info › Run anyway.
The SW dot is not green after installing?
Make sure SOLIDWORKS has fully started (past the splash screen). If it still does not connect, see the troubleshooting section (Vietnamese) or contact support.
